Vinkara Yaşasın Sparkling Rosé Wine
Vinkara Yaşasın Sparkling Rosé Wine is the first natural sparkling wine produced in Turkey using the Traditional Method (Methode Traditionnelle), a commonly preferred method for the production of top quality sparkling wines worldwide. Yaşasın was produced with Kalecik Karası grapes harvested at Vinkara’s vineyards in the Kalecik region. The Vinkara Yaşasın Rosé has a dark salmon pink. Aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries and currants on the nose. Fine pearls on the palate, fresh, aromatic and with a long finish. A sparkling rosé wine in the champagne class.
Seasonal pattern characterized by spring and summer temperatures slightly above average. Also the rainfall was higher than normal with a month of July characterized by a high temperature range between night and day.
The Vineyard – Kalecik / Ankara
Vinkara’s Kalecik vineyard is located northeast of Ankara in the Mid Northern Anatolia province. At an altitude of 2,000 feet the vineyard is surrounded by nearby mountains and the Kızılırmak River. The river creates an extraordinary mesoclimate for producing wines with naturally high acidity that are powerfully complex. Due to these unique weather conditions, the most prominent grape cultivated in Kalecik carries the name of the region. Kalecik Karası is one of the three most important red grape varieties in Turkey.
Grapes are picked by hand. Grapes are pressed directly without being crushed. Base wine kept in stainless steel tank until tirage. After second fermentation, which is done bottles, wine ages minimum 2 years with sur lie. After 1 month of remuage, degorgement is done bottle by bottle. Labeled bottles are aged minimum 3 months in cellar before market release.

Vinkara Yaşasın Sparkling Rosé Wine is recommended to be served at 10-12°C and matches perfectly with appetizers such as shrimp scampi flatbread, bruschetta, pizza, charcuterie and cheeses.
