Pet Nat Wine Paşaeli Sıdalan Pack of 3
Pet Nat Wine Paşaeli Sıdalan Pack of 3 is produced from ingenious 100% Sıdalan grapes. The grapes were pressed and fermented in stainless steel tank. The wine was bottled while fermenting with no fining and filtration. The alcoholic fermentation was finished in the bottle, and CO2 was trapped as bubbles, making it naturally sparkling. It remained in contact with the lees for 6 months, then it was manually disgorged.
Tasting Notes
Pale colour; the nose is aromatic with rich notes of red apples, pear cider, daisies and herbal, with a strong mineral character. Bright, crisp, and elegant in the mouth with well-formed bubbles, textured and fresh finish.
Source of Grapes
Paşaeli vineyard is located in north Aegean region, on the northern part of Mount Ida (Kaz Dağları), Çanakkale at an elevation of 300m. Cold winters and warm summers are characteristic of the climate. Soil is a blend of sand and clay. The vines are 20-25 years old in average, head-trained and conventional farming procedures are applied to the vineyard.
What is Pét-Nat?
Pét-Nat is the short name for the French Pétillant Natural, simply meaning ‘naturally sparkling’. Pét-Nat is a wine that is bottled during initial fermentation, and the sugars from the grapes provide the bubbles.
