Paşaeli Morso Sole Sultaniye
Sultaniye comes from one vineyard. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, after which “Sur lie” matures for three months to give the wine complexity. The wine turns pale golden yellow in the glass and has a green glow.
In the nose delicious aromas of tropical fruit and melon. Lively and refined acids form a pleasant balance in the mouth with the juicy fruit.
Sultaniye (aka Sultana) is a variety that is grown all over the Aegean region. It is used for eating and for raisins. But it is also suitable for wine-making. Sourced from a single vineyard in Buldan that lies at 450 metres elevation, it is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18C and aged on its lees for 3 months to provide complexity. Pale gold colour. Fruity notes of melon aromas and citrus. Same flavours on the palate with creamy texture and freshness. Quite full in the mouth and savoury.
