Suvla Kalecik Karası 2019
Suvla is named after a bay in the north coast of the Aegean Sea on the historical Gallipoli Peninsula. Indigenous variety Kalecik Karası is grown on two seperate regions: Konya and Güney/Denizli. The effects of the terroir in two regions are pretty different resulting in rich aromas and a more complex wine. Suvla Kalecik Karası 2019 has a medium purple color. It has fruity and spicy aroma with notes of strawberries, black mulberry and banana accompanied by thyme, laurel and black pepper. This wine is partially aged in barrels for 4 months. A well-balanced fruity palate and juicy acidity overflows into an elegant finish with silky tannins.
