Suvla Winery is a family owned wine producer and viticulture company located in Eceabat by the Çanakkale Strait -Dardanelles on the historical Peninsula of Gallipoli in Turkey. Suvla is named after a bay in the north coast of the Aegean Sea, close to family vineyard Bozokbağ. In this region, famous with it’s history, the relationship between vines and soil is going on for centuries.
Focusing on quality and working with a specialized team and most up to date sophisticated infrastructure, Suvla winery processes high quality grapes using state-of the-art technology and know-how. The modern style winery also houses a traditional olive oil mill as well as a facility to produce natural agricultural products. A concept store showcases examples of the winery’s extensive labels as well as natural products for visitors. A gourmet restaurant and a tasting bar puts the finishing touches to the concept store located at the entrance of the winery.
Soil, sun, wind, and history… Key factors of a success in a vineyard. Since the beginning of vine planting, as years went by, the impressive terroir yielded very high quality grapes. Today the region has become the center for high quality boutique vineyards. The family vineyard is organically certificated and surrounded by pine trees, with the intense smells of resin and lavender in the salty seaside air.
The vineyard sets discovered in the ground of this green museum, in which there are 1900 different plant types, took us to an quite different journey.
Nestled in the historical Peninsula of Gallipoli, between the North Aegean coast and the Sea of Marmara, the 90 hectares of organic vineyards produce a wide variety of vines. The whites include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne and Marsanne, and the reds include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Grenache Noir, Petit Verdot, and Pinot Noir. The indigenous varieties Kınalı Yapıncak, Karasakız are unique to the Thrace region and others are Öküzgözü and Boğazkere.
After harvest, the grapes are held in cool rooms for a short period of time before being processed. The winery layout has been configured for gravity-flow processing, and has a capacity of 950,000 bottles per year. Temperature controlled, state-of-the art fermentation equipment allows for precise control of the must and modern maturation vessels ensure optimum aging. Selected wines are aged in different types and sizes of oak barrels for the premium labels.
Though it is a young brand launched in 2012, Suvla has been deemed worthy of medals in several national and international wine contests. Suvla Wines have young premium, premium and ultra premium labels to satisfy different tastes. 27 labels of whites, roses and reds are available to satisfy all taste pallets of wine lovers.
Bağ ve Şaraphane
60 hectars of organic vinyards have a wide variety of vins and nestled in the historical Peninsula of Gallipoli between the North Aegean coast and the Marmara seas. Whites are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne and the reds are; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Grenache Noir, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir. Indigenous varities are Kınalı Yapıncak and Karasakız. Vineyards were set under the certification of ‘Good Agriculture Practice – GAP’. By 2013, they were switched to organic certification.
The winery is only 3 to14 km far from vineyards, which makes it possible to obtain ultimate quality chateu style wines. Stabilization infrastructure helps the winemakers to keep all aromas and tannins in the juice. Selected wines are aged in over 1000 oak barrels for premium labels.

Strong, well balanced blend wines. The line of Suvla which is designed by the winemakers as a special blend. Oak barrel maturing 3-12 months.
Elegant, well balanced blend wines. The blend line of Suvla which is designed by the winemakers special choice. Oak barrel maturing 6 months and over.
SUVLA – Reserve
Mature, strong, well balanced reserve serie of wines. Oak barrel maturing 3-12 months, bottle aging for 3-6 months. Suitable for storing 1-5 year.
SUVLA – Grand Reserve
Mature, well balanced special reserve line of Suvla. Winemaker’s special signature. Oak barrel maturing for 6-18 months, bottle aging for 6-24 months. Suitable for storing 1-10 years.
