Paşaeli Boutique Winery is a family owned Turkish wine estate that was founded by Seyit Karagözoğlu in January 2000. They had started as a fine wine importer back in 1993. Over the years their import company had become one of the leading fine wine importers and distributors in the Turkey.
Turkey is currently world’s 6th largest grape grower having many micro climates and soil types. The country is also blessed with hundreds of indigenous varietals suitable for making unique and quality wines. Back in year 2000 it was hardly known as a wine producing country in the international wine scene. But, through their experience as wine importer, they knew that one day Turkish indigenous varieties would be in demand by the international wine world.
Indigenous varieties were planted in the Aegean region, such as Sultaniye, Yapıncak, Çalkarası, and Karasakız, and Bordeaux varieties were planted near İzmir.
