Suvla Merlot 2019

This wine is produced from Merlot grapes grown at Bozokbag, the family vineyard on the Gallipoli Peninsula. The vineyard has hardpan soil. Northwest winds prevailing the micro climate provide a highly convenient terroir for the maturation of high quality grapes. It is fresh and vibrant on the nose with a fruity profile dominated by aromas of ripe plum, cranberry and pepper. Refined tannins highlight the rich dark fruit flavors (red fig and black sour cherry) on the palate and leads to a long lingering finish.
