Suvla Kilitbahir White Wine 2019
Kilitbahir, meaning “key of the sea”, is a small village with a fishing harbour located on the narrowest point of the Dardanelles with a great view of Asian shores. The presence of the tremendous clover shaped Ottoman fortress gives importance to the village and was built in 1452 by precious architects. The region nestles family vineyard of Suvla and traditional vineyards as well. Suvla Kilitbahir 2019 is a white blend wine crafted from varieties Narince, Emir and Sauvignon Blanc. The wine reflects the terroir’s characteristics very well. This delicate wine is a well balanced straw colored dry white wine offering white flower aromas with a crisp acidity and a fruity clean finish. It has a perfect match with white meats, sea foods, fish dishes, salads, pastas and cheeses or by itself.
