Challenge International du Vin 2021 Results

Successful 45th edition for the Challenge International du Vin! As in 2020, the red wines were tasted at the Bordeaux Congress Center on June 12, after a first part dedicated to all other types on May 18 and 19. Two sessions well achieved for the oldest international wine and spirits competition organized in France, with tasting conditions as close as possible to the usual configuration, while ensuring the safety of all those present thanks to the strict health protocol set up by the organizers. Mission also fulfilled towards their producers by allowing them to value their awards before the summer.

This year, 3,569 samples from 27 countries were tasted. 1,143 Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals and 6 Special Prizes were awarded, including 2 for Moldovan wines, put in the honour for this edition. As the Honorary President of the competition, Mihail Druta (President of the Moldovan Sommellerie) and the Wine of Moldova* representatives could not be present due to Covid travel restrictions, it is a jury of representative and specialized professionals who gathers on June 12 to award these 2 Prizes.

We congratulate Doluca Wines, who won several medals in the “Challenge International du Vin 2021” Wine Competition. For more information please visit the official website of “Challenge du Vin” at challengeduvin.com
