Doluca Signium 2018

Doluca Signium Red Wine vintage is born as 36 % Shiraz (Denizli),30 % Cabernet Sauvignon (Thrace), 18 % Boğazkere (Denizli),16 % Cabernet Franc (Thrace). Among the grapes that are harvested at the different regions of our country in late September Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Boğazkere and Cabernet Franc became the prominent grapes in 2014 with their superior qualities as they are collected with a very low production of 5-6 tons per hectare.

For Signium 2014, the maceration period lasts about 12 days and then the wine lots are aged for about 6 months in 100% French oak barrels with sur-lie technique. In Signium 2014 which draws attention with fruity, powerful and long structure, you can feel ripe cherry, prune, wild strawberry, vanilla, roasted almond and spice aromas with pleasure in your nose and on your palate.

Eye: dark purple
Nose: reserved, primarily jammy red and dark fruits, secondary notes of wood fire and petroleum
Palate: medium body, strong tannins, present acidity
