Doluca Sarafin Wine Tasting Pack Of 3

  • Doluca Sarafin Chardonnay White Wine has a process  in the Doluca winery, following a gentle pressing process the juice and sediment of the Chardonnay grapes, known as “the queen of the whites” , are put into small French oak barrels to ferment together in a method known as “sur lie”. Then, the malolactic fermentation process generally used for red wines is applied to lend the resulting wine its “buttery” character, a velvety smoothness. After 12 months aging in 225 lt. French oak barrels the flavours and structure of the wine is maintained by applying limited filtration before estate bottling. Sarafin Chardonnay has a rich bouquet and complex, lasting flavour on the palate.

 

  • Doluca Sarafin Merlot Red Wine is aged for 12 months in 225 lt. French oak barrels and the resulting wine is velvety smooth in character with a complex vanillary bouquet. Merlot –originating from Bordeaux, France- has shown itself to be ideally suited to the Saros Region. The gentle sea breezes cool the vineyard enabling the Merlot grapes to linger on the vine developing their own unique softness and giving rich, fruity and long lasting flavour to their wine.

 

  • Doluca Sarafin Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine is a strong, full bodied dry red wine and It’s suitable for aging. The Cabernet Sauvignon grape’s characteristic tannic structure is softened by 14 months aging in 225 lt. French oak barrels resulting in a smooth textured wine. Harvested relatively late due to the cooling summer breezes from the Saros Bay, the Cabernet Sauvignon fully reflects in its taste the unique flavours received from its terroir. Known as “the king of reds” and originating from Bordeaux, France.
